Boy’s name should be of 2 or 4 letter and girl’s name should be of 3 letter or 5 letter, says sasthra . Paternal Grand Father , Grand Mother, Maternal Grand Father and Grand Mother names are the recommended names for the children in the order. Grama Devatha name is also recommended. If some one in the family visited any Mahakshethra (temple) during the child birth then that temple gods name will be put as name of the child .
