Description
Bhagavthi Seva is done normally during the evening time . It is the traditional and one of the most effective way of doing Devi Pooja . Pooja is done in 3 lamps . In the central lamp , the Pooja will be done for after invoking Santhi Durga Parameswari with the Moola manthra “Dum Dugaye Namaha” or “Durgam devi saramaham prapadhey “ . Avarana pooja for Santhi Durga Parameswari is done . Lalitha Sahasaranama, Ashtothram and Thrisathi archana will be also done . Devi Mahathmya Parayanam will be also done along with the pooja. In the other two lamps , Guru and Ganapathy is invoked and Pooja will be done for them before starting the Pooja for Santhi Durga Parameswari .
It can be performed on Pournami , KrishnaPaksha Ashtami , Navami days to have the maximum benefit .
