Description
Dhanwantari is the deity presiding over the famous Indian medicinal system called Ayurveda. Lord Dhanwantari in Indian mythology is said to have carried the nectar of immortality when the ‘Samudramathanam’ was done (churning of the cosmic ocean). Lord Dhanwantari is particularly worshiped by all practitioners of Ayurveda. He is the bestower of good health and remover of all diseases.
This Homam is dedicated to Sri Dhanvanthari Moorthy. This homam is very useful for curing serious diseases. It is best to do the homam once in a year to ward off all the forces that create negative effects that bring about health problems to individuals.
Who should do this Homam: People with chronic illness or having fear of untimely death should perform this Homam.
